Source discipline is the product
For a SIF-focused platform, the hard part is not only building pages. The hard part is showing what is known, what is verified, and what still needs review.
That is why elitefunds tracks source slots separately:
- AMC product page
- ISID or offer document
- Factsheet
- NAV source
- Portfolio disclosure
- Riskometer or suitability disclosure
This keeps the site honest while the SIF universe is still young.
Why not hide pending gaps?
Hiding gaps would make the interface look cleaner, but it would weaken trust. If a profile has an official ISID but no recurring portfolio disclosure yet, the visitor should know that.
The same applies to NAV. A factsheet NAV can be official and still not be a live daily feed. Both facts matter.
What comes next
The platform is moving from static research records toward controlled imports and eventually automated source ingestion. The sequence matters:
- verify official URLs
- label freshness and source quality
- validate imports before promotion
- automate only after the manual workflow is safe
That discipline is what lets the site become reusable instead of fragile.
